No matter what stage of your Christian walk you are in, it’s hard to discern what songs are good to listen to. Unfortunately, a lot of newer “Christian” songs are based off of feeling. They’re only called “Christian” songs because the band or person has labeled themselves a Christian singer. However, songs for the Lord are more than just someone’s feelings or mentioning God. They have to be of sound doctrine and not sound like a rock concert or a rap song. They have to be true, just, pure, and they need to glorify the Lord (Philippians 4:8 KJV). You also need to do some research on the group/singer to make sure their views and lifestyle line up with the Bible.
